New Study Explores Incisionless Magnetic Procedure for Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes
A first-in-human trial investigates a novel, endoscopic, magnet-based approach, published in Journal of the American College of Surgeons, to creating a duodenoileal bypass without incisions or sutures. Early results show procedural success, as well as encouraging safety and metabolic outcomes, at one year.
