Dr. Caroline Doyon

General Surgeon

Dr. Caroline Doyon has been a General Surgeon since 2012. She completed her studies in the Medicine and Surgery program at the University of Montreal.

In addition to her specialist's diploma in general surgery, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences, a Master's degree in Molecular Biology – where she worked on cardiac regeneration – as well as a Master's degree in Biomedical Science, where she specialized in gastrointestinal tumors.

Doctor Doyon began her career working for a center community hospital, where she was responsible for teaching residents in medicine. She worked there for nearly three years.

Then, she directed her full-time practice to hospitals in remote regions of Quebec, which allowed her to gain a lot of experience in various surgical fields.

In September 2017, she started divided her career between practicing in remote regions and working in the private sector. She did this to offer a competing service to the outdated public system.

Since 2017, she has seen and treated more than 5,000 patients with all kinds of anorectal pathologies. Moreover, she participated in a specialization program in endoscopy at the CHUM. She currently works as a surgeon and endoscopist in Quebec.

Dr. Doyon has been a speaker and mentor for several years to physicians in several specialties. She is also a columnist and panelist in some shows and social media intended for the general public. She is the author of an online training course for family physicians, via the FMOQ, where she lectures on hemorrhoidal disease and venous disease.

Above all, Dr. Doyon promotes a human approach that listens to the patient and focuses on the patient. She aims for a relationship of trust between her patients and herself, all towards the goal of patient satisfaction.
