Non-Surgical Weight Loss: Swallowable Gastric Balloon Live Webinar!

Live Webinar

Have you considered bariatric surgery but are hesitant to undergo anesthesia and a minimally invasive surgery? Join our informational session about a swallowable gastric balloon, a weight loss procedure that requires no anesthesia, and no endoscopy.

What is a Swallowable Gastric Balloon?

The swallowable gastric balloon is a type of intragastric balloon used for weight loss. It is a pill-sized balloon that is inserted into the stomach through the mouth using a thin tube. Once the balloon is in place and its position is verified using an x-ray, the balloon is filled with a saline solution taking up space in the stomach and making the patient feel full.

Join healthcare professionals to learn more about this novel procedure.

A bariatric surgeon with experience in using swallowable gastric balloons will explain the procedure, its benefits, and potential risks. They will also answer any questions you may have.

Additionally, dietitians take turns to discuss how they will be supporting patients before, during, and after the procedure. They will provide advice on nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and strategies for managing any potential side effects. Dietitians typically help patients adjust to the balloon and its effects on their appetite and digestion. Through dietetic consultations patients can develop healthy eating habits, make sustainable lifestyle changes, and achieve their weight loss goal.
